16 agencies from thenetworkone, the world’s leading independent agency network, share their trend forecasts on social media marketing, which was the big winner of the media mix globally in 2020.
The key social media marketing trends for 2021 include social commerce, live streaming and TikTok. Influencer marketing will grow in importance, and the collaborations become both longer and more strategic. Purpose-driven brands will thrive on social also in 2021. These and many other insights are found on the Social Media Marketing Trends 2021 report published today by the world leading independent agency network thenetworkone and its member Kurio, an award-winning social media agency.
The insights were gathered by interviewing 16 social media marketing experts from 16 award-winning independent agencies. The respondents are from countries as diverse as China, USA, Germany, UK, Sudan, South Africa, Singapore, and Romania. The interviews were done in December 2020.
All the respondents are using social media to help their clients do better communications, marketing, and eventually, business. They don’t work with any particular social media platform or service-provider, thus their insights come from an objective point-of-view. Coming from not only different countries, but also different types of agencies, their answers offer a 360 view of social media marketing for the upcoming year.
